Patrick started his accounting career in Hong Kong with Ernst & Whinney (now known as EY) in 1981 and was transferred to their London office from 1984 to 1986. During his tenure with Ernst & Whinney, Patrick was involved in audits of owner-manager private enterprises, financial institutions, media research, manufacturing, commodity trading, and not-for-profit organizations. He also assisted with a number of companies in their initial public offerings in Hong Kong and the US.
When Patrick moved to Vancouver in 1988, he was among the core group of senior professional staff involved in the Pacific Rim practice of KPMG.
Today, Patrick’s clients include major ethnic television and radio broadcasting stations, real estate developments, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, airlines, investment and professional services companies, as well as not-for-profit organizations.
In addition to auditing and accounting, Patrick also provides tax planning, corporate structuring advice to individuals and corporations (including non-residents). He speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
TINA TAM, CPA, CA, MASc

Tina obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from University of Toronto and Master of Applied Science (MASc) from University of British Columbia. After working as a chemical engineer for a few years, she decided to change career to become a public accountant. She articled with Touche Ross & Co (now know as Deloitte) and moved to KPMG to pursue a specialization in taxation.
Tina provides taxation services including estate and succession tax planning for owner-managers, corporations, and new immigrants. She also provides tax compliance services for individuals, non-residents, and corporations. Her clients include apparel manufacturing, engineering, retail, real estate investments, and travel agencies. Tina speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
YUKI KUROZUMI, CPA, CA, BA

Yuki grew up in Japan and came to Vancouver to complete her university education. Before establishing SRTK, she was the senior manager in charge of KPMG’s Japanese practice. Her experience includes audits of financial institutions, hotels, manufacturing, travel, natural resource corporations, and large Japanese trading companies.
Currently, Yuki has an extensive range of clients including hotels, tourism, restaurants, real estate investments, and wholesale companies, as well as a pharmaceutical research and development company. She also provides specialized accounting, auditing, and tax services to Japanese corporate and individual clients. Yuki speaks fluent English and Japanese.
EDMOND CHONG, CPA, CA

Edmond graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance. From an early age Edmond had a keen interest in numbers. It was no surprise when he chose to pursue a career in accounting and tax planning and focused his attention on earning his CPA, CA designation. He joined SRTK in 2008. Edmond prides himself when his work results in tax savings for his clients. He boasts in-depth tax certification, is passionate about tax planning, and brings his expertise to bear on every file. His dedication is twinned with a sense of infectious humour that his clients enjoy.
Edmond is also a keen sports man, playing basketball and golf. He also supports the SPCA and CIBC Run for the Cure. Born in Hong Kong, Edmond moved to Vancouver when he was 11-years old and loves the BC culture.
ERNEST TSANG, CPA, CA, BSc

Before pursuing a career in public practice, Ernest graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Biology. However, he soon discovered he preferred working in an office environment than a laboratory. Since joining SRTK in 2009, he has never looked back and has enjoyed forming new relationships with clients and watching them grow through time. As an avid technology enthusiast, Ernest continues to drive the team forward on learning and adopting new trends and provides first class service to all his clients.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Ernest loves hockey and is a passionate fan of the Canucks. A new father to a beautiful daughter, Ernest loves spending time with his family. Additionally, he is an active philanthropist, deeply committed to the support of children and youth through various organizations such as Compassion Canada and BC Children’s Hospital. He enjoys coaching and making meaningful connections with our future generation through his local church.
EUNICE YUNG, CPA, CA

Eunice graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and International Business. She started with HSBC’s Accounts Payable department gaining invaluable experience in the day-to-day operations of a large financial institution. Since joining SRTK in 2010, she obtained her CPA, CA designation in 2013 with strong determination and focus. Eunice shows attention to detail, takes responsibility, maintains good communication, and develops excellent relationships with all her clients. She has continuously proven herself to be highly capable and constantly expands her knowledge by learning about the different industries her clients operate in.
Eunice and her family immigrated to Vancouver from Hong Kong when she was nine years old. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. During her free time, she enjoys socializing with friends, playing badminton, and travelling. She has participated for many years in the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Walk with the Dragon and is now also a keen CIBC Run for the Cure fundraiser and runner. Eunice plays a critical role at SRTK and is well-rounded in both her personal and professional aspects.
